Baby Scarer

Hey Everyone! I have another Kreations from Ken's Kreations. Well I am back today to share another project I made with a FREE file. This time you can find this FREE SVG over at PPBN Designs. This file features a cute little monster dreaming of his future. Take a look at the card:

This was a super easy card to make. I used both my Silhouette Cameo and my Cricut Explore for this card. I used the Cricut Explore for cutting the SVG file. I cannot say enough how easy the Cricut Explore makes your cutting job. I just downloaded the SVG from PPBN Designs, imported it into Design Space and then sized the file. Cricut Explore does the rest. Cuts my work load in half. The file I used is FREE this week and I might have insider information that more characters from this Monster set will be released soon! I downloaded the FREE SVG file here:

Once I had the little monster completed I needed to turn my attention to the sentiment. I found an AMAZING site! This site shows you all the correct fonts to use for different disney titles. You can find this website by clicking HERE!!! This site gave me the website to download the Monster's Inc font file, which can be found at dafont.com or by clicking HERE. Once I had the font downloaded to my computer I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the sentiment below:

This was an amazing and fun card to make! Make sure to check out the supply list below and you can click any of the links to see the product in the amazon store. Also make sure to always click on my amazon links on my blog to find my favorite crafting tools!

M&M Mother's Day Card

I decided to do a second posting today. This is a Mother's Day card I designed using the Your My Favorite M&M file title piece.

You're My Favorite M&M Mother's Day card                         This is the image I started with,

I loaded the SVG file of the title and rearranged the pieces to come up with this image.

I separated the pieces out and loaded the mat.

I cut two of the base shape and on one I added a score line.

You can either put the M on the green M or not.

Hope you all had a Hoppy Easter!

Wedding Shower Card

Good morning everyone :) The sun is shining out my window which made for a perfect opportunity for me to get out and snap a few photos of what I was playing with yesterday.  I needed to cut one of my designs to see how it was going to cut before I decided on how I was going to finish it.  My new Bride and Groom set (the rest of the wedding party will be coming soon) was so much fun to create!  I couldn't decide whether I wanted them to have real eyes or just the happy closed eyes for cutting purposes.  The real eyes are so tiny that I wasn't sure that they would cut very well so I got on my cameo and started cutting.  Just as I suspected, the real eyes were way too small to be able to cut all of the details on them so I decided it was best to give my tiny, happy couple some closed, happy eyes instead :)  This makes it much easier to cut and assemble and gives them an innocently elated look that I just adore and I hope you do too!

Perfect for that spring or summer wedding shower you will most certainly be invited to.  This card only took me 20 minutes to make and will add a perfect "homemade, full of love" touch to my cousin's bridal shower gift this spring :)

Here is the Bride and Groom set that is now for sale in my store.  Click the image to go there and pick yours up today!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and that your hearts are inspired to do amazing things!

You Rock!!!

Happy Wednesday! Diane here from www.happyscrapperdiane.blogspot.com with a cute one page layout.  This is called "You Rock" from PPBN Designs.  Even though this has a music theme, I thought it applied to this little guy because he kinda of rocks in my book!  He is my little 6 year old nephew Cannon.  For this layout, I used some old Bo Bunny pattern paper I had in my stash and cardstock from Bazzill.  I added a little glitz by using some stickles on some of the letters.  You can purchase the files for this layout and many other fabulous ones at www.ppbndesigns.com

BEAR PEEKER EASEL CARD

Bear Easel Card

Hello, my name is Janice and I am new to the  PPbN Design Team. I have scrap booked for over 30 years. I have two sons and two daughters plus two more daughters I claim just because they want me to be their mother, and 11 beautiful grandchildren. I hope you enjoy my first project and if you would like to see the notepad shown in the picture just visit my blog where there are directions for making one. janiceaeschliman.blogspot.com

I use a Cameo Silhouette with the Designer software but you can adjust for your cutter and get the same results.
I grouped all the pieces and made the black head layer 4.5 x 5.5 by pulling the box around pieces until the black layer was around that size. You can choose any size and adjust rest of the pattern to fit. I did not use the bottom layer because the feet were on it and I wanted to add the feet to inside of card. I used this file/http://www.ppbndesigns.com/bear-peeker/
I put together the layers just didn't place feet on bear head. I added some foam squares to the paws.
I cut a brown card 10 x 4 3/4 inches. I scored at the 2 1/2 in and the 5 in along the long side.
Fold to look like this.
Add adhesive to the bottom 2 1/2 in area, don't go all the way to the outside edge.
Place head on that lower half with the bottom edges matched up.
Open card add a lighter color to write on. mine is 3 x 4 1/2. Bend card and decide where you want the feet and attach to card.
I added a banner with Happy Birthday on it. The banner is from the Artist cartridge page 35 cut at 1 1/4in. I used the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste Collection Birthday (banner) Happy Birthday Stamp.
Inked with Mocha Mama Quick Quotes Powder puff chalking ink.
Add foam squares to bottom half of banner.
 Place half way on paws.

Finished card.
This is the notebook cover I made to go with the card for a gift. Directions on my blog.

COOKIE MONSTER JAR

Hey Everyone! It is time for another Kreation by Ken's Kreations.

So yesterday I show you on my blog the Girl Scout Frame. Well once you have all of those cookies form those cute little girls, you will need a place to store them. This leads me to today's project:

For this project I found the cookie jar at Michael's. It was part of their Ashland collection and they were having a 60% off sale as of today's date post. You can also find this cookie jar at this LINK. I used the PPBN COOKIE FILE. This is a kit for a scrapbook, however I just used the elements I needed for this project. I imported this file into my Silhouette Studio Software. Then using the basic ARIAL font, I used the text feature in my Silhouette Studio Software to create the words "More" and "Please". I sized the COOKIE FILE to my desired size for the cookie jar. I utilized the chalk oval space as the back of the cookie jar to instruct "mom or dad" to refill the jar. Using the print and cut features, I printed this onto the SQUARE1 inkjet printable media 8.5" x 11". This is a printable adhesive backed media that allows you to print your designs on superior quality media. Once the design was printed and cut on my Silhouette Cameo, I arranged the designs onto the jar. Taking Ranger Stickles 1/2-Ounce Glitter Glue, Cinnamon, I randomly selecting chocolate chips to sparkle. I finished the project with a coordinating Royal Blue with White Dots Grosgrain Ribbon Polka Dot 1-1/2 inch 50 Yards and added a simple ribbon to the top of the stainless steel lid.

A Little Easter Fun!

Hello, Diane here again today from www.happyscrapperdiane.blogspot.com with another adorable project made with the fabulous PPBN Designs svg files. I used the Bunny In The Egg, Easter Eggs, and the grass from the Super Bowl Sunday files.  It's time to start making those Easter treats and this little bunny is an adorable edition to any card, layout, or paper craft.  Today I am using it to decorate this little basket perfect for a cute gift or table decoration.  I cut the bunny at the size in the file which was perfect for this basket.  The eggs I reduced the size 50% and just added the grass piece to fit.  You can really have fun with these files. I will also show you how to make this quick and easy basket too.

He is so cute and makes a perfect decoration!  I added a little stickles to the egg.

You cut a piece of cardstock 8.5 x 8.5 for the basket and 1.5 x 11. 5 for the handle and fold at 2.50 on each end.
Score and cut the ends up  the middle fold line on each end.
Bring the ends up to the middle and add brad or staple and add the handle.
I added a little touch to the handle by using a punch to decorate it and then I added some ribbon. Be sure to stop by PPBN Designs and check out all the great files!
