Just a quick print and cut valentine. I made a offset around the bear after I traced it in Design Studio. I then mirrored it up and moved it so that the ears toughed just a little and then welded both together. the phrase inside was traced, printed and cut. Only took a few minutes to finish. This could of also been done as a pieced project. File used was Beary Special Valentine.

Santa Owl Card
This is a card I made to send out. I printed the png. file and then sized the two green svg. file pieces to fit on my base to give it some depth. I added ultra fine Flower soft to the brim and ball of hat. Before I cut the base I offset the image because I wanted the white layer. To make it a card I cut this layer twice and placed a fold line on the back image. Simple card but came out cute. File I used was Santa Owl.

Finger Puppets with print and cut
I loved the card by Samantha Walker from the Silhouette Store but wanted it to be a fun card for my granddaughter so I knew just what to add, print then cut figures from PPbN Designs.com. Instead of piecing such small figures I used the .png and print then cut.

Sleeping Princess and the retired set Once Upon A Dream were the file I used. Next I used a cone shape to turn these cuts into finger puppets.
I print then cut the Happy Birthday title to go on the inside and cut the Princess. I hope my grand daughter will love this card.
Print Then Cut with the DE software for the Silhouette Cameo. I have updated to 3.0.343
1. Choose design, I choose the png but you can also color and put back together the svg file. For this I am going to talk about a png file.
2. add the Registration marks. 4th button at top from the right. Looks like sheet of paper with registration marks. Under style button choose your machine.
3. Now to get cut lines go to 6 button from right. Open trace window. The one with a butterfly.
Select trace area and make a box around image. Now time to play with the different settings. I turned off High Pass and moved the Threshold to 100%. The balloons on my image didn't completely yellow out but I am just tracing the outside edge so it worked for me. Trace outer edge.
4. If you are wanting a white border just use the offset and remember to take away the other cut line.
5. Choose print setting for you printer and print. Button looks like printer.
6. Put paper on mat and I add a extra light in front of my machine. Cut.
Add the Registration marks and make sure your image is inside the marks.
This is with High pass on and I might have gotten away with this since I only need the outline but I choose to unclick that and use the Threshold to 100%.
Just showing the cut line, move image back into place to print and then cut or if you like the white border use the offset but remember to remove the first cut line either by moving it out of the way or changing it to no cut.

Little Monster card
Welcome to PPbN Designs blog post for this Monday. I made a layout with these monsters last week and this week I made a Birthday card for my grandson. The file can be found here.
This shows how I laid out the card before I cut the pieces. I did this to make sure all my pieces would fit or if I would have to re-size them. I had a large envelope but no card bases so I just cut a 12 x 12 piece of white cardstock to 12 x 9, scored at 6 inches, and folded. The monsters are on foam dots with Mike on dots thicker than Sulley's. The stamp I used was from a CTMH set I had around. This was a great way to use my scraps from my layout. Thank you for looking.

M&M Mother's Day Card
I decided to do a second posting today. This is a Mother's Day card I designed using the Your My Favorite M&M file title piece.
You're My Favorite M&M Mother's Day card This is the image I started with,
I separated the pieces out and loaded the mat.
I cut two of the base shape and on one I added a score line.
You can either put the M on the green M or not.

BEAR PEEKER EASEL CARD

Bear Easel Card
Hello, my name is Janice and I am new to the PPbN Design Team. I have scrap booked for over 30 years. I have two sons and two daughters plus two more daughters I claim just because they want me to be their mother, and 11 beautiful grandchildren. I hope you enjoy my first project and if you would like to see the notepad shown in the picture just visit my blog where there are directions for making one. janiceaeschliman.blogspot.com
I grouped all the pieces and made the black head layer 4.5 x 5.5 by pulling the box around pieces until the black layer was around that size. You can choose any size and adjust rest of the pattern to fit. I did not use the bottom layer because the feet were on it and I wanted to add the feet to inside of card. I used this file/http://www.ppbndesigns.com/bear-peeker/
I put together the layers just didn't place feet on bear head. I added some foam squares to the paws.
I cut a brown card 10 x 4 3/4 inches. I scored at the 2 1/2 in and the 5 in along the long side.
Fold to look like this.
Add adhesive to the bottom 2 1/2 in area, don't go all the way to the outside edge.
Place head on that lower half with the bottom edges matched up.
Open card add a lighter color to write on. mine is 3 x 4 1/2. Bend card and decide where you want the feet and attach to card.
I added a banner with Happy Birthday on it. The banner is from the Artist cartridge page 35 cut at 1 1/4in. I used the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste Collection Birthday (banner) Happy Birthday Stamp.
Inked with Mocha Mama Quick Quotes Powder puff chalking ink.
Add foam squares to bottom half of banner.
Place half way on paws.
Finished card.
This is the notebook cover I made to go with the card for a gift. Directions on my blog.
