Happy Turkey Day!

I am the guest designer for Die Cuttin' Divas this week and the challenge is Thanksgiving.

 Design ID #51289  in the Silhouette Store, or look under designer PPbN and you can find it plus a lot of other cute designs. The paper I used is Flourish Fusion by the Paper Studio. I cut two papers in half and cut the third paper into thirds using it to glue the other two paper together for a 12 x 12 paper again. The doily cut under the turkey is a Silhouette store file that I stretched oblong to fit my turkey. The tag in the upper right hand corner is hand cut a hole punched and ribbon added.

Halloween layout

Ok, I love pink, purple and lime green so that is what I used on this page. Decided Halloween didn't need to be orange and black. The file I used is from PPbN Designs Halloween scrapbook page kit. This makes it so easy to complete a page in a short time. Hope you have a wonderful week and enjoyed this weeks project. Today is my 35th wedding anniversary, I am lucky to be married to my best friend. Love you hubby! Going to spend the day with him.

Zoo Layout

Happy Monday!

Our zoo is on a mountain side and the view is so gorgeous but today I am only going to show you the giraffe enclosure. This is so different because we fed the giraffes lettuce and you could pet them, take your picture with them and even have them lick you. For this layout I used the Through Thick and thin file. I inked my edges with powder puff chalking ink.

 For the eyes I used a uni ball Signo white pen for the white areas, the blue accent is a colored pencil. For the lashes I used a black colored pencil to draw a black line around part of the eye and smudged it with a paper nib and odorless mineral spirits (both can be found at Michael's) and the the lashes are drawn on with a .05 black marker.( I use Prismcolor brand).

 This title was made using fonts from my computer and a mountain from the Silhouette store.

Good morning this is my Monday post for ppbndesigns.com. The file can be found here.   The white flower border can be found in the Silhouette Store. I had to size and weld the border but all the rest of the pieces are cut at the size they appeared on the mat. This layout worked great for my grand daughter's visit to the doctor.

Campin Crazy 4 page layout

Good Morning! Well, it is Monday again and this is my post for PPbN Designs blog. I made a 4 page layout using the Campin Crazy file. I added the moon from Love You to The Moon and Back. I made the pieces from the Campin Crazy file and quickly realized that I would need  more than two pages.

 I inked most of the pieces. Here are close ups of some of the pieces.

For the title I used the alpha that came with the file and another one off my computer. I laid out the letters the way I wanted them to look and then offset twice. Hope you enjoyed and hope you have a wonderful week. 4TH OF JULY DECORATIONS

4th of JULY DECORATIONS

I used several file to decorate my camper window for the 4th of July. The USA one in the bottom photo is a print and cut using Square 1 Adhesive Fabric, the rest are cut from Orcal 651. the files I used were from the Silhouette Store. USA, Fireworks, & Cute Fireworks. The Freedom is from PPbN Designs site here. This was so much fun to do and really decorated my camper.

Graduation Box Card

 These are the two files I used to create my box card. I used Ken's file from his blog and added my own shapes. I shrunk all the pieces until they fit in the box.

This is for my niece who is graduating and becoming a teacher so I thought the owl was a good choice for my card. The paper I used was a school pack from Authentique. I love that it was double sided so I could use both sides.

The stamp I used on the top left is from CTMH.

This is how I set up my cut. On the owl in the upper left I added a small box so I had a place to glue the owl to the card. I did this by welding the box shape to his feet area. On the inset I added another another rectangle shape and then the grad. hat shape and I placed the balloons and strings how I wanted to use the and did an offset, then added this where I wanted it on the inset.  I then welded all together. I got rid of some shapes because they were too small just choose the layer I wanted.

 Link here. I changed up the colors some and made the title smaller so I could add an extra mat. I put stickles on the crown and the septar. I used the cut out shapes from the castle for flakes on the page and I tore a snow border for the bottom.

M&M Mother's Day Card

I decided to do a second posting today. This is a Mother's Day card I designed using the Your My Favorite M&M file title piece.

               You're My Favorite M&M Mother's Day card                         This is the image I started with,

I loaded the SVG file of the title and rearranged the pieces to come up with this image.

I separated the pieces out and loaded the mat.

 I cut two of the base shape and on one I added a score line.

You can either put the M on the green M or not.
