Thanksgiving Table with PPbN file

My table for Thanksgiving

I am not going to be home for Thanksgiving so I did a pretend table for you all to see. Thanksgiving Turkey is the file I used for all my decorations. The napkin rings and the placecards are print n' cut. The centerpiece turkey is pieced. The wreath around the turkey is from the Silhouette Store
Design ID #69551

The place card is a rectangle cut 4 x 31/2 inches and folded in half with a topnote shape as accent. The turkeys are all about 2 1/4 inches on all the pieces. I put all 8 turkeys on one mat sized added the white offset, printed and then cut.

Christmas Snowman

Hey beautiful crafters

I have taken a small hiatus from using my Cameo Silhouette because it was acting a little funky so I'm back!!!

I used the super cute cut file from PPBN called Christmas Snowman! I super love it.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day and happy holiday crafting!!!

Happy Turkey Day!

I am the guest designer for Die Cuttin' Divas this week and the challenge is Thanksgiving.
Design ID #51289  in the Silhouette Store, or look under designer PPbN and you can find it plus a lot of other cute designs. The paper I used is Flourish Fusion by the Paper Studio. I cut two papers in half and cut the third paper into thirds using it to glue the other two paper together for a 12 x 12 paper again. The doily cut under the turkey is a Silhouette store file that I stretched oblong to fit my turkey. The tag in the upper right hand corner is hand cut a hole punched and ribbon added.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving and a Blessed day with family. Thank you for coming to my blog.

and they lived.... Happily Ever After

Sleeping Beauty Exclusive file.
The paper is Fairytale Castle Right #36440 from www.scrapbookcustoms.com. When I saw this paper I knew I had to have it and I love this layout. That could be because my son, my daughter in law and my three grandkids are on the layout but I do love how it all came together. The frames are from the Silhouette store and the file is a PPbN Exclusive file for members only. A great reason to join.http://www.ppbndesigns.com/memberships/. Hope you love the page as much as I enjoyed making  it for one of the kids scrapbooks.

Up! Themed Card

Hi everyone!

This card was relatively easy, actually and it turned out great.

I used a blank card as my background, and I used two SVG's from www.ppbndesigns.com - both the Old Man and the Balloon house came from there.

Its pretty simple! You download the files, piece together (some people may need to follow the instructions for piecing if you're new to paper piecing), and add to the card!

The paper I used was Recollections paper from Michael's Craft Stores. I love the way it cuts.

I did use a Versamark Watermark Pen on some areas, and I used a White Gelly Roll pen on the cuts for accents.

The inside I left blank, but you can stamp or write a phrase in there. A cute phrase could be "You lift me Up!" or something similar.

This is one of my favorite cards!

Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving layout

Gobble Gobble!

Well, Halloween is over so I have started on Christmas and Thanksgiving layouts. I do not scrap in order always because I am trying to catch up on a few books and still keep up on the current books. This paper is pretty old from my stash, but since I have vowed to either use my stash or get rid of it I decided I could use these two papers. I had to cover the bow on page one because I wanted to turn the paper around to change things up on the layout. The Cute Turkey worked well since it was fat. Other files used on page one were Gobble Gobble Title, leaves were just taken from the title and made larger, and the Pilgrim owl (indian owl).

On page two I used Pilgrim BoyPilgrim GirlThanksgiving pie,  Pumpkin, the date was just a font on my computer.
I changed a paper that I wasn't using into a cute layout. Really shows how my scrapbooking has changed over the 40 some years I have been doing this, I never buy papers with frames on it already anymore, I create my own designs and layouts now.
