Universal Love Card - DT Ken's Kreations

Hey Everyone it is time for another Kreation's from Ken's Kreation's.

Well I am so excited that I get to be the first designer to work with the new Universal Love Set from PPBN Designs. This is an amazing set that features characters from my favorite Pixar Movie Wall*E.  In this project I show you how you can take this Scrapbook Page Kit and using the same elements from this kit, create your own custom card to give to a loved one. Here is the finished product we are going to make:

This week's project I got to try out two new things! A wonderful new set from PPBN Designs and a new material called Square 1 Printable Fabric

Well I think the Frozen Phenomenon is upon us and let me just say I am party of this frozen blizzard! I love everything about this movie. I LOVE the store, songs, characters and the endless quotes. One of my favorite characters is Olaf. This cute little snowman is the heart of the movie and I adore him. One of the best quotes that warms my heart is when he says:

"Some People Are Worth Melting For!"

Well as soon as I knew I was going to be a designer for PPBN Designs, I knew I wanted to work with the Snow Queen Set. I only used the happy little snowman from this set. However the rest of the set is amazing.

Also in this project I use for the first time Square 1 Printable Fabric. This is an AMAZING product. Square1 Masterpiece is a PVC- free adhesive backed fabric that is a safe alternative to vinyl.  Square1 is more flexible and easier to use than vinyl ever could be. Plus....did I tell you...IT IS PRINTABLE!!!! Olaf is done in this amazing product! Check out the video below to see this amazing product in action!

Easter Blessings Layout (Print/Cut) - By Ken DT

Recently I shared on the blog with you an amazing design from Ken's Kreations. 

Ken used the amazing Bath Time Scrapbook Kit that are pre-designed and sized for you. In his project he walked you through how to Cut N Design these files.

Now he is back to share how you can use these same files to create wonderful Print N Cut scrapbook layouts!! These are amazing files that can utilize the Print N Cut feature in many design software. Below he shares the YouTube video where he shows you how to import the file into the Silhouette Studio, Print and Cut the file, shade the designs and then how to put it all together!!

Bath Time Fun Scrapbook Layout-by Ken Hess DT

Our first DT project was made my Ken Hess.  He chose to create our Bath Time Fun kit and he did an amazing job!  Ken used the SVG file to cut each piece of the kit, piece them together and then assemble the kit.  Coming soon from Ken, he has also completed one of kits using the print and cut feature of the Silhouette Cameo, so stay tuned for that post as well!

This project only took Ken one hour to complete, start to finish.  If you were going on a crop weekend and wanted to catch up on your scrapbooking, think about how many pages you could get done with the help of our handy SVG page kits!
